LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — After two special meetings on Thursday, Eaton County and Delta Township reached a tentative agreement on the financial framework for a new 10-year police services contract.
Under the new framework, Delta Township will pay $8 million a year to keep Eaton County sheriff’s patrols — nearly twice as much as the $4.4 million they currently pay.
If the millage fails, officials say all CATA service, including to the township’s only fixed route, would be eliminated.
