PINOLE — A 3.4 magnitude earthquake hit near Pinole at 9:30 p.m. Sunday, according to the United States Geological Survey. The quake’s epicenter was about one mile northwest of Pinole and one mile west of Hercules, officials said. There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.

A magnitude-2.5 earthquake was reported Monday morning in Los Angeles’ Florence-Graham area. The earthquake at 8:33 a.m. south of downtown LA produced shaking in Los Angeles, Bell, Downey, Lynwood, Long Beach and other areas.

A magnitude-3.4 earthquake struck the East Bay on Sunday night, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The quake's epicenter was 1.1 miles northwest of Pinole, in San Pablo Bay, at a depth of 5.8 miles.
