The Clinton fire department received a call May 12 at night about a man who had crawled into a culvert. The man was found more than 400 feet inside.

In July, heavy rain ruptured a culvert pipe behind a home in Woodridge Estates. Rain washed out a large section of the land around the pipe. The Woodridge Estates in Arnold was built in the 1980s.
