The company initiated the recall after finding a limited number of bags labeled as “Dark Chocolate Coins” containing milk chocolate coins, which did not have a milk allergen declared on the label.

As the company-written recall notice states, some gold foil-wrapped coins in blue netting bags are labeled as Dark Chocolate Coins. But, those are Milk Chocolate Coins.

They had been labeled. The notary found 10 packages that each contained 172 gold 20 franc coins. Some of the coins in the collection were from the Kingdom of Macedonia, dating to 336-323 BC.
