Bryony House employees held a protest Friday calling for management to immediately find a temporary shelter for women and children after the Halifax facility closed its doors more than two months ago.
Martin sold her Waverley home to Bryony House for $1,075,000, to be used as the grand prize in the home lottery. She then bought the house back from the winners for $620,000, a difference of $455,000.
Sancho blamed Bryony House for the lottery's problems. "The prizes were awarded without the project manager, me personally, being involved. Things could have been distributed differently," she said.
