Alfieri, Bindo, Ettore and Ernesto would certainly be proud of their latest offspring. The four Maserati brothers (who are no longer of this world) set up their first shop in 1914 in Bologna, Italy.

Alfieri Maserati died in 1932. His brothers Bindo, Ernesto and Ettore took over, but they had a tough time keeping up with Mercedes-Benz and Auto Union, which largely dominated the races.
