Sponsorships and commercial deals made up the biggest chunk, around €244 million per club. Broadcasting added another €213 million, while matchday revenue averaged €103 million.

To qualify for the Football Benchmark report, you must be in the top 50 in operating revenues and UEFA’s five-year club coefficient, or top 30 by social media followers as of January 1, 2025.

Top-of-the-table Real Madrid became the first club to rake in €1bn, up by over a quarter from the season before. Success on the field still matters hugely to a team’s income.
