The northern lights — also called aurora borealis — could be visible in Alaska, Washington, Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota, Michigan, Maine, northern parts of Idaho, Wyoming, Iowa, New York, Vermont and New Hampshire.

Sky-watchers, you're in luck—the northern lights, or aurora borealis, may make another showing in June, above Alaska and the upper Midwest to the Northeast, according to NOAA.

Montana, North Dakota and Minnesota are just some of the states that may be able to see the Northern Lights Monday night.
