Houston police are at the scene of a robbery on Westheimer Road after one person was shot and taken to the hospital.

An officer at the scene told ABC13 that two suspects pepper-sprayed the armored truck worker before shots were fired.

An ambulance was seen leaving the scene, but there’s no word yet on any injuries.

A spokesperson with HPD said that officers responded to a call at the 8100 block of Westheimer around 11:45 a.m.
