RM and V greeted fans with salutes and a saxophone performance after being discharged on Tuesday. V asked fans to "wait just a little longer" for BTS to reunite. All seven members are set to finish their military service by the end of this month and their agency Hybe had hinted at a reunion.

RM and V began their service in December 2023, while three other BTS members — Jin, J-Hope and Suga — were already months into their conscription. Jin, the oldest member of the K-pop supergroup, was discharged from the army in June 2024.
