There's a new version of macOS coming later this year — macOS 26, aka Tahoe. Apple showed off the newest version of its laptop operating system at WWDC on Monday, with a focus on the new design elements.

Apple recently announced its latest update for MacOS 26, codenamed "Tahoe." It's full of new visual design elements like Apple's Liquid Glass design theme, better integration with the iPhone, and a more robust Spotlight feature that's better integrated with Shortcuts.

In macOS Tahoe, Spotlight evolves into an all-knowing, all-seeing assistant that learns from your history and performs tasks with words, instead of clicks.
