Federal law enforcement have begun "targeted immigration enforcement" arrests in El Paso, authorities said. Photos and a video of "immigration enforcement efforts" were released Thursday, Jan. 30, by FBI El Paso Division officials.

The FBI provided photos of immigration enforcement activity in El Paso, but federal agencies haven’t provided details of the operation.

Acting Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove, appointed by President Donald Trump, will oversee the efforts of the FBI, DEA, ATF, U.S. Marshall Service, and federal prosecutors.
