BMW will sell just 40 examples of the 2012 M3 Competition Edition, a special-edition M3 coupe whichpays homage to the fact that 2012 marks the 40th anniversary of BMW’s M performance division.

The new BMW M3 Coupe Frozen Silver Edition adds almost £9,000 of gear to a standard M3 all for an on-cost of just £4,000. The car will go on sale in the UK on June 1 with an OTR price of £58,720.
