The City of Waxahachie announced multiple road closures Tuesday morning after a train with over 100 cars derailed downtown overnight. According to WFAA-TV, some of the train cars were carrying ethanol but no leaks occurred. Sixteen of the cars derailed and 10 additional cars tipped over. No injuries were reported in the accident.
