Select canned tuna products from grocers including Costco, Walmart, and Trader Joe's are being recalled due to potential botulism risk, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced on Monday. The voluntary recall over botulism fears also covers cans sold at Safeway, Harris Teeter, Costco and other major grocery stores in dozens of states.

Several different flavors and sizes of tuna produced by California-based Tri-Union Seafoods have been recalled because of possible clostridium botulinum (botulism) contamination. The recall was announced by the Food and Drug Administration Monday which says no illnesses associated with the recalled products have been reported.
