NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - Union Pacific Railroad is investigating a train derailment east of North Platte near Highway 30.

No one in the train’s crew was hurt, said U.P. spokeswoman Kristen South as well as two North Platte railroad union leaders. No hazardous materials were involved in the derailment, South added.
