It happened on May 23, 2025, around 5:20 p.m. in the 9700 block of South Rainbow Boulevard, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
The train was only going about 25 mph at the time of the wreck, according to an accident report posted online by the Federal Railroad Administration.
