Aside from Thursday's winter storm, we have another separate system that's set to rock and roll through the North Country and Upper Valley with more widespread, heavier snow this weekend. Here's what we're monitoring for Saturday night into Sunday.

I would call it a two inch to five inch snow from Grand Rapids and Flint northward. I’d call it a one inch to three inch snow for anywhere south of Grand Rapids and Flint. This would include Detroit, Ann Arbor, Lansing, Jackson and Kalamazoo. The highest chance of five inches of snow stretches on a line from Ludington to Clare to north of Bay City.
