As Amazon revealed plans for the largest Prime Day event ever, a number of major retailers are following suit to rival Amazon's annual sale. Retail giants Walmart and Target both announced Monday their plans to host sales events overlapping with Amazon Prime Day.

Target's Circle Week runs from from July 6 to July 12. You can expect back-to-school items and college essentials like classroom products, dorm décor, and on-trend apparel, but you'll also find tech products on sale.

Amazon Prime Day is one of the biggest sales of the year, second to only Black Friday. Although this shopping holiday was created by Amazon, it has ballooned into a much wider event. Most major retailers have already announced some sort of rival sale in 2025, and July is shaping up to be a great time to find savings this year.
