Bill Moyers, a former White House press secretary to Lyndon B. Johnson who became the thoughtful voice of public television, has died. He was 91.

Bill Moyers, a longtime, highly respected broadcast journalist and former White House press secretary, has died. Moyers, 91, a former resident of New Jersey, died Thursday. His son William Cope Moyers told The Washington Post he died in New York from complications of prostate cancer.
