Authorities have lifted the remaining evacuation orders for the burn area of the Pacific Palisades, allowing unrestricted access to the area for the first time since a devastating fire leveled it in January.

Roadblocks are down, and pathways are finally clear in the Pacific Palisades. The coastal community fully reopened to the public Monday nearly six months after the Palisades Fire chased community members out and shut businesses down. “ It's been a little tough but you know we hanging in there”, said Potchara Ratsameejun, co-owner of Moku Sushi.

Six months after a wildfire devastated the Pacific Palisades, the final evacuation orders have been fully lifted, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
