Brave New World and was all-in on Harrison Ford's Red Hulk – including the monster's chest hair. I'll save my thoughts on how good the film was, or how tedious, for later. But there was one moment that made me chuckle and then made me think – and this doesn't spoil anything.

Brave New World" introduces us to a good number of Marvel heroes and villains, most of whom are decidedly less costumed than their comic book counterparts. For example, Shira Haas plays the Israeli hero Sabra while Giancarlo Esposito is the Serpent Society leader Sidewinder.

Marvel Studios avoids a box office disappointment, buoyed by international audiences. But is that enough to lift this latest Captain America sequel to box office profits?
