The Los Angeles Police Department has activated its entire force for Saturday’s “No Kings Day” protest, implementing what officials call a “full mobilization” as Marines station at the Wilshire Federal Building in Westwood and National Guard troops support federal immigration agents on raids across the region.

Thousands of demonstrators chanted “ICE out of L.A.” on the sixth day of protests against the Trump administration’s immigration raids.

The U.S. Department of Justice said Wednesday that LA's law enforcement was "unable to bring order to the city."

The president claimed, without giving evidence, that the protesters were “paid” agitators, that the Los Angeles police asked for the National Guard, and that swaths of the city were under gang control.
