Just hearing Scott Boras' name is enough to evoke fear in the minds of baseball fans with hopes of their favorite team being able to retain all of their best players. That has been the case with some Houston Astros fans when they learned that both emerging ace Hunter Brown and now Jeremy Peña have hired Boras as their agent.

It appears the Houston Astros will have to wait to sign their rising star shortstop to a contract extension. The New York Post's Jon Heyman reported Wednesday that Jeremy Pena and the Astros were in "serious long-term contract talks" before the shortstop switched agents to Scott Boras.
