Variety’s initial review of Snow White called it a “shining supernova,” but it’s safe to say that the general audience response didn’t quite agree with that glowing description. In fact, many critics have been much less kind, finding the film’s narrative, performances, and CGI-heavy visuals to be far from stellar.

Snow White is a live-action remake of Disney’s 1937 animated classic starring musical veteran Rachel Zegler in the title role and Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen.
