Cyberpunk 2077's Patch 2.3 update is available July 17, 2025 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series consoles (with the Nintendo Switch 2 version coming at a later date), and CD Projekt Red has once again expanded players' customization options in the game as they explore Night City in style.

After a series of vehicular teases earlier this week, CD Projekt has finally unveiled Cyberpunk 2077 's much-anticipated and mildly delayed 2.3 update, which - among other things - introduces self-driving (but sadly not flying) cars to Night City.

New vehicles and missions to get them, as well as a new taxi service, are coming to Cyberpunk 2077 in Update 2.3.

That fits with a GamesRadar report saying the 2.3 update will feature "new Photo Mode functionality, additional cars, and more." The site also says the 2.3 update will go live on July 17 alongside the release of the Mac version of Cyberpunk 2077, which was announced today.

Update 2.3 is adding new customization options, with "hacked" CrystalCoat vehicle looks that allow you to tweak the paint job on a wider number of cars. Because it's an in-universe unauthorized version of the software, these new looks sometimes come with mild visual glitches or inconsistencies.
