Police say a woman is facing multiple charges after she crashed into a family out for a walk in Brooklyn, killing a mother and her two children.

A driver faces a list of charges after police say she fatally struck a mother and her children at a crosswalk on Ocean Parkway in Brooklyn.

The victims were taking a walk on Saturday when the driver hit another car and veered into their path, the police said. The driver faces several charges, including manslaughter.

The pilot perished in the crash, authorities said. Terry Dolan, a U.S. Bancorp executive, is believed to have been on board, a company spokesperson said.

The pilot was the sole fatality and there were no other injuries after a plane crashed through the roof of a Brooklyn Park house on Saturday, officials said in a press conference. One person inside the home was able to escape without injuries. A second resident was not home at the time, Brooklyn Park Fire Chief Shawn Conway said Sunday.
