The Michigan Wolverines have a quarterback duel on their hands headed toward the fall football season with Bryce Underwood joined by Mikey Keene and Jadyn Davis in the team's 2025-26 quarterback room.

Jake Garcia, previously at Eastern Carolina with stops before that at University of Miami Florida and Missouri, has committed to the Wolverines, the program announced on social media on Monday, June 16. Garcia took a visit to Ann Arbor earlier in June, which many felt was a signal that Michigan was seeking veteran reinforcements in the room.

Michigan and head coach Sherrone Moore have made a late roster addition through the NCAA transfer portal. Former East Carolina quarterback Jake Garcia has committed to the Wolverines. Garcia has had a long journey throughout his college football career but Ann Arbor will be his next stop.
