As announced in a press release, Yuengling Lager and Flight by Yuengling, a new light beer, are now both available on draft in over 2,000 Illinois bars, including in the city of Chicago.

Yuengling, the oldest brewery in the U.S., has officially launched its beers in Illinois. The rollout includes Yuengling Lager and Flight by Yuengling on draft in bars and restaurants statewide.

Yuengling said its customers can expect bottles of Flight to appear next month on store shelves in all 22 states where its beer is distributed.

Pottsville brewery D. G. Yuengling & Son is in 27 states, but its management says there's no plan to go national or international.

The Yuengling brand has a number of beers to choose from including the traditional and light lager, the golden pilsner, the dark brewed porter, the FLIGHT by Yuengling, Bongo Fizz and more.

Yuengling beer will become available in Chicago, Illinois next year, continuing Midwest expansion, its parent company announced Wednesday.

First up is draft sales of Yuengling’s flagship Traditional Lager and Flight, a new upscale light beer, which will roll out across the state through 18 distributors this week.

The expansion follows Yuengling's flagship beers becoming available in Texas in August 2021. When Missouri, Oklahoma and Kansas are added, Yuengling will be available in 26 states.

Beginning in late January, Yuengling brand beers will be available on draft at bars and restaurants in Illinois, with their brews coming to store shelves in the following weeks.

Yuengling’s Flight is a twist on low-calorie beer. There’s also a golden pilsner and varieties that in the future will include a chocolate porter beer.
