The commission decided Thursday to officially consider setting the speed limit at 75 mph on I-90 from the Wyoming border to the Rapid City area, a stretch of about 55 miles.

Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Utah and Wyoming also have roads with 80 mph speed limits, and on several toll roads in Texas, the limit reaches an incredible 85 mph.
