State health officials are warning some people not to eat some fish in two western North Carolina lakes ... some fish caught in Lake Chatuge in Clay County and Lake Nantahala in Macon County.

In an unprecedented move, the U.S. Forest Service has implemented a complete public closure to 8 miles of the Nantahala River within the Nantahala Gorge in North Carolina for up to two years.
