Parent company Saks Global, in concert with the city, is evaluating alternate plans for the location as a potential art, fashion or entertainment destination.

The downtown Dallas Neiman Marcus will remain open through 2025 before the location is "reimagined" the company announced Friday.

Neiman Marcus's downtown Dallas flagship store, initially slated for closure on March 31, will remain open through the end of the year. The City of Dallas is working on a plan to keep the store open long-term, potentially involving a "reimagination" of the space.
