The ongoing United Auto Workers strike is expanding. UAW President Shawn Fain called for union members to strike at noon ET Friday at 38 General Motors and Stellantis facilities across 20 states.

On Tuesday, Stellantis issued a statement saying it was contesting a strike authorization vote held by UAW Local 186, which represents workers at a Stellantis parts hub in the Denver area.
