That’s the premise of the Share Shed, a library of things in Totnes that’s part of a global movement to reduce our impact on the Earth’s resources and connect people through sharing.

A "mobile library of things" that encourages people ... Share Shed travels weekly to Totnes, Buckfastleigh, Ashburton, Dartington, South Brent, Kingsbridge and Ivybridge.

The old cinema and former Totnes Library had fallen into disrepair before it was bought in a "leap of faith" in 2013 by Jane and William Hughes who launched an appeal for public support to restore it.
