Lawmakers will have 30 days to tackle a packed agenda outlined by Gov. Greg Abbott, from flood relief to redistricting to THC products.

The state legislature will take the rare step of considering a mid-decade redrawing of district lines in light of concerns raised by the Justice Department.

There are 18 items on the special session agenda. Four items relate directly to the catastrophic flooding in the Hill Country. Gov. Abbott has asked the Legislature to approve funding for the response and recovery.
