SELMER, Tennessee — She pulled Polaroid pictures from the debris pile that was once her home. Stacy Thompson sifted through the rubble in this flat, warped landscape of schrapnel and debris. She picked the pictures out of the clay mud.

After a devastating tornado ripped through the town on Wednesday, Dyersburg (Tenn.) residents had to take shelter three more times on Saturday due to tornado warnings as they prepared for possible flooding from heavy rains earlier.

Law enforcement agencies across West Tennessee are urging residents to use caution and stay weather aware as severe weather moves through the Mid-South.
