All My Files is one of the most useful features in the Finder for my virtual dollar. It shows all files on your Mac, defaulting from newest to oldest. The setting for it is slightly hidden.

Microsoft is testing a "File Skill" in the Cortana app in Windows 10 Insider build 20270. It's designed to find more of the files you're looking for, in the cloud or on your PC.
