The Indian River County Public Shooting Range is the only one of the six operated by a public entity. There are four or five national and international events taking place each spring at these ranges.
The U.S. Forest Service is reviewing a proposal from the Tucson Rod and Gun Club for a permit to build a shooting range along Redington Pass Road northeast of Tucson.
