San Bernardino police chased a car driven by a potential kidnapping suspect across multiple cities Monday, March 31. The pursuit began when officers attempted to stop a silver sedan for a vehicle code violation around 4:45 p.m., according to Capt. Nelson Carrington with the San Bernardino Police Department.

Antonio Chaidez, 35, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a shooting spree that injured at least three people, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
