He named the glowing rocks neolites in recognition of Northeast Ohio. In 2020, Lynn created the Lake Erie Fluorescent Mineral Hunters group, which has over 3,000 members on its Facebook page.

But unlike many of the members who have joined her group in the last six months, "I have never found a rock." As more people join the craze and Northeast Ohio Rocks grows, her odds are getting better.
