OpenAI said on Wednesday it had not partnered with Robinhood for the stock tokens the trading platform unveiled earlier this week.

Robinhood’s tokenized stocks drew fire from the ChatGPT maker and critics who say the product offers no real equity and lacks transparency.

The tokenized versions of U.S.-listed stocks and ETFs are first available to EU users and are issued on Arbitrum, with future plans to deploy them on the firm's own blockchain.
