Father Ted star Ardal O’Hanlon was among a ‘conclave of comedians’, including fellow Irishmen Tommy Tiernan and Late Late Show host Patrick Kielty, who met the Pope in a private audience. The group of around 100 comics met Pope Francis last June at the Vatican.
