In addition to this, Hess has pledged to donate over 10,000 toy trucks to police department toy drives. This year, they are also offering the Plush Tugboat, designed for younger children.

The officers were participating in the fifth-annual Toy Ride Along Program jointly operated by the police department and the Waukegan Park District.

The event will run from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5 at the Battle Creek Target located at 5700 Beckley Road. Toys should be delivered to the large SWAT truck.
