Analog Devices, a Norwood semiconductor firm, announced Tuesday it will acquire a California-based rival in a deal worth $14.8 billion in cash and stock.
That deal was announced earlier this month. "Analog Devices is a highly respected company," Bob Swanson, co-founder of Linear Technology, stated in a release.
