Hodges said he was told the mall would be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday but that Nordstrom, which is one of the mall's original tenants and anchor stores, would be closed.

The mall is expected to reopen Saturday but the Nordstrom store will remain closed, Hodges said. Since it opened in 1992, the mall has been a tourist destination and community gathering spot.
