At least three people were killed and others are missing after flash flooding in West Virginia this weekend, and millions of people from the Plains to the Great Lakes will be on alert for severe weather this week.

A difficult forecast is ahead for Monday as a morning round of sub-severe storms will dictate what occurs during the evening hours. Two scenarios will be at play: 1) Morning storms taper before noon.
