Tennessee students will have to limit their phone use as they return to classes in a few weeks. HB 0932, a law requiring all Tennessee public school districts to ban the use of cell phones, laptops, smart watches and other devices, went into effect July 1.

As Nashville students head back to school next month, new rules on when they can and cannot use their cell phones will be in place.

School boards across Oklahoma are implementing new policies regarding student use of cell phones, with a new law set to take effect for 2025-26.
