The New Jersey Devils are mourning their onetime general manager Ray Shero, who died on Tuesday. “Ray was a highly-respected executive, enthusiastic mentor, and most importantly, tremendous friend to many during his time in New Jersey,” Tom Fitzgerald, the Devils’ current president and general manager, wrote in a statement.
