Ford Motor Company recently issued multiple recalls, affecting over 42,000 vehicles, for issues that can potentially increase the risk of fires and crashes, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

Ford just issued another huge recall. This one is for 492,145 Explorer SUVs built in 2016 and 2017. After dozens of customers complained of trim pieces blowing off their SUVs, the NHTSA pressured Ford to issue a recall.

Ford is recalling Explorer SUVs because their door trim may come loose and fall off. If the trim falls off, the debris could cause a crash or injuries.
