The Bridge Creek Fire near Navajo Mountain has expanded to 2,219 acres, with increased containment efforts and personnel deployed.

A lightning-sparked wildfire near the Utah-Arizona border has grown to More than 2,200 acres on Navajo Mountain, which is about five miles from Lake Powell.

The lightning-ignited fire, first observed on June 13, grew during a wind event over the weekend and now has 121 firefighters assigned to it.
